TWO sharks were shot from a surf boat as they circled the body of a man who had been dragged out to sea in a fatal shark attack yesterday. Police said father-of-one Adam Strange was swimming 200m off shore from Maori Bay to Muriwai Beach on Auckland's west coast yesterday afternoon when he was bitten by a 4m-long shark. Despite seeing "blood everywhere on the water", witnesses said the 46-year-old TV commercial director was not killed by the first attack.
