A MAN killed in a fatal shark attack at an Auckland beach yesterday may have swum directly into a pack of feeding sharks. Police said father-of-one Adam Strange was swimming 200m off shore from Maori Bay to Muriwai Beach on Auckland's west coast yesterday afternoon when he was bitten by a 4m-long shark. Police told the New Zealand Herald it was possible three up to three sharks, believed to be great whites, had been feeding on fish and birds in the water and Mr Strange swam straight into their path.
